If only we could teach the dogs to blog...

Well. it's been a long time since I blogged (there are more people in the UK other than me [-hint-hint])so I guess that there may be some impatience over the Atlantic...

So why have we been too busy to Blog? Well there have been some 'Freestyle' Dog dance competions which have taken up time. One was down near Land-End in Cornwall, where Teasel Won Intermediate level with a routine based around 'Leaning on a lamppost by George Formby', and Spider won Novice level (Not bad for a first-go for Spider!!) with his 'HIppy Hippy Shake' routine.

Teasel is a 'bad-girl'

and then pretends to pee against the lamp-post
Whilst down in Cornwall and Devon we visited Lucy's Brother Oli, and his son Thomas, then a few weeks later on Thomas' Birthday, they came to visit us and we had an afternoon in Cannock Chase...

Meanwhile, certain members of the household complained about the lack of a garden deck, during the summer weather, and moped whilst they thought I was taking too long to build it...
And then decided enough was enough once there was sufficient space for them, but no-body else...(It's very dificult to build a deck when Beagles keep sticking their noses into circular-saws and drills etc.)

Then there have been more competitions... Spider took 2nd place at Stonleigh (Near Coventry) with his Hippy-Hippy-Shake routine the last weekend of August, which now raises him to Intermediate Level where Teasel currently is [although she only requires a few points to go-up to advanced level now].

Lucy and Spider boogey...
An eye-catching 'key-hole' jump through Lucy's legs.

This weekend has seen us attending a tutorial day with Richard Curtis who came to our Club to demonstrate and guide us in more advanced dog training methods...
